The Residences at Choctaw Trail is now Pre-Leasing
The Residences at Choctaw Trail, a new affordable housing community being developed by Michaels in Saddle River, NJ is now pre-leasing. This 112-unit community offers a variety of amenities, including a fitness center, a multipurpose room where social services will be offered, a basketball play area, outdoor seating areas, and more. The Residences at Choctaw Trail offers rent-restricted apartments. Individuals interested in applying must have a minimum income to qualify, but must not go over the maximum income limits. First Two Buildings of Legends South A3 Receive Full Building Permit
Full building permits have been issued for the first two buildings of Michaels’ Legends South A3 development in partnership with Brinshore Development. Formerly the site of the Robert Taylor Homes, the currently vacant lot will be transformed into a high-quality affordable housing community, comprising a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units across two separate buildings, a four-story elevator building, and a three-story walk-up building.
Oak and Larrabee Development Approved for $14 Million in TIF Funding
The Committee on Finance of Chicago has approved $14 million in tax-increment financing (TIF) funds for Michaels’ Oak & Larrabee mixed-income housing development in Cabrini-Green. The development will offer 78 units, 54 of which will be affordable, with a wide range of amenities including a community room, fitness center, and second-floor outdoor patio. Read more here.
Michaels and SNRHA to Bring Two New Affordable Housing Developments to Las Vegas
Michaels, in partnership with the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority, is set to break ground on two major affordable housing developments in Las Vegas, Nevada, following successful financial closings on both. The communities, Duncan & Edwards and 28th & Sunrise, will offer a total of 201 affordable apartments, both with a variety of community amenities.

Michaels Partners with U.S. Defense Department to Support Military Spouse Careers
The Michaels Organization has joined the Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP), a unique program offered through the U.S. Department of Defense that connects military spouses with partner employers who have committed to recruit, hire, promote and retain military spouses.
